Shortly after I became a Mommy for the second time, my love for photography grew by leaps and bounds.  Many friends and family had complimented me on my work, with my kids and their kids as subjects.  They strongly encouraged me to pursue it professionally. 

 

So, Sharon Nelson Photography was born.  I have been loving my jobs as Mommy  photographer, and web designer (Yes, I designed, created, and published this site myself).  I wanted to remain affordable, so that the average family can have high quality professional portraits at a reasonable price. 

 

During one of my shoots, I love catching the special moments that  reflect relationships, personalities, smiles, tears, and hugs that we all want to cherish for the rest of our lives. After a shoot, your images will be posted in a private online gallery for viewing and ordering prints, designer handbags, and jewelry.  Your password can be forwarded to friends and family, so that they can order at their convenience.

I’m Sharon Nelson.  I opened up my studio after many years of envying other photographer’s work and jobs.  Although I had been taking portraits most of my life, I continued on another career path, while assisting a well respected and seasoned photographer out of Burbank, California named John Dlugolecki.
